I recently signed up for the beta testing program for this webroot’s new and promising product – Internet Security Complete. So far I found no issue with this at all. It’s working perfectly, real time protection is light on resources and scanning is lighting quick.

Since it is an all-in-one security suite, it offers strong firewall, anti-phishing, anti-spam, browser and email protection. It has built in system junk and spam cleaner which not only cleans quickly but also saves a lot of space taken by those hidden browser cookies and temporary files created by third party apps.

The most impressive feature of Webroot’s Internet Security Complete is that it has all the options available at one click on it’s main interface. You can initiate any process including system scan, spam or junk cleaning or anti-virus update with a right click on taskbar icon or by opening main interface without a need to open any other additional window. Settings, task scheduling, notification, and gamer mode all can be accessed in one single window with a nice slide-in effect.

But the best feature of all is it’s “Sync and Sharing“. You can sign up for the FREE 2GB online account for your documents’ backup so you can synchronize your most important folders and set them to auto synchronization mode so that whenever a new file is created or copied in those monitored folders – is automatically uploaded to your webroot’s online backup account. This synchronization process is so light on system resources that you wouldn’t notice it in the background!

A toolbar installed in your browser lets you save your history and favorite websites online so that you can keep track of them online and can access from anywhere where you have internet access. Securely edit your profile and password information for any of your protected websites. You can also save your identity by creating a master password for your identity protection which can help you in filling web forms automatically with the button from the toolbar in your browser.

According to Webroot the final product will be released in Mid October 2010. Till then they will continue to receive feedback from their beta testers.
