3 Most Useless Features of Windows 10
It’s been almost a year since Microsoft unveiled its latest creation into the market and we got to know that it’s named the ‘Windows 10’. Of course, OS lovers were waiting for this release expecting a perfect operating system by Microsoft in every way. Since its release two weeks ago, Windows 10 has been loved by most of the people out there. But then again, nothing’s perfect and so is the Windows 10. In this post we’ll tell you about three of the most useless features included in the Windows 10.
Addition of Multiple Desktops
When it was first revealed that Microsoft is going to feature multiple desktops there was a lot of buzz about it. People that use the same laptops in work and school dreamt of ease and complexity.
However, that isn’t how it turned out. Windows 10 does let you keep multiple desktops but it doesn’t however let you choose different icons on the multiple desktops. This makes the feature almost useless if you ask me.
Wallpaper Restrictions
OS lovers were also expecting different wallpapers for multiple desktops making you get the UI experience of two computers from the comfort of a few clicks.
Although that too didn’t happen as you can’t choose different wallpapers for different desktops. This is where the desktop features seem to be completely useless.
Start Menu’s return to the screens
After the windows 8 and 8.1 release it seemed that the problem that most people were facing was the sudden disappearance of the start menu and its transformation into desktop tiles.
However, as time went on people got used to it and the complaints to Microsoft gradually stopped but Microsoft seemed to have other plans. Microsoft introduced the start menu again with tiles and apps embedded inside which seemed to be of no point and wasted people’s time.
Microsoft’s initial releases have always been very unsatisfying although with proper updates they’ve transformed into masterpieces. Let’s hope this is one of those initial releases that has some of the most useless features that bug the OS users. Hopefully, Microsoft will release an update to fix this release later on.
