Download Google Chrome 8 (Beta) Full Offline Installer

Just after the release of Chrome 7, developers at Google started working at next version of Google Chrome 8. Chrome 8 is still in beta state but it is said that a lot improvements will be seen with the final release of version 8. Currently the features are almost the same as we’ve seen in final stable release of Chrome 7 and no additional new functionalities or features have been added in this next planned version so far. However bunch of improvements and advancements have been made already and you can observe the changes if you plan to download and test this beta version 8.

As far as user interface is concerned nothing new has been added or changed. Infact both the versions look exactly the same that you can’t tell which one is version 7 and which one is 8.

Features that may get upgraded are:

– Updated built in in Adobe Flash Player
– Better password management and Master Password feature.
– Quick and smart Form autofill feature
– Better and quick addons installation
– Syncing of extensions and browsing data with Google dashboard.
– And offcourse improved speed and stability for less crashing and smoother browsing. :p

I’ve personally downloaded Google chrome v8 (beta) and so far it’s has been playing nice and acting good – same as previous stable version 7. No crash report generated so far! 😀

Again … at the official Chrome website there is no complete offline installer given and you have to go for the slow online installation, which goes file by file and leaves no trace of downloaded files that you can copy and share. This is why I always keep an offline installer which I can take anywhere on my portable drive in case I need to install the latest version on a system with no internet connection 😉
